In large drinking water networks, ageing joints can deteriorate over time, leading to leaks caused by corrosion in bolts and gaskets. In the 24" pipeline in Veracruz operated by Grupo MAS Agua, the replacement of a deteriorated joint was completed using a NEO+ 650–675 coupling compatible with the existing pipe ends.
