In high-rise buildings, vertical drainage systems often include sections with very restricted access, making it difficult to dismantle existing pipes during renovation works. At the Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai, the modernisation of the downpipe system was carried out using REP DN250 couplings, enabling intervention in an extremely confined space and the replacement of components installed more than 20 years earlier.
